Chilliwack Hospice Society, established in 1986, is a community-based volunteer organization that supports individuals and families during the grieving process. With compassion and care, we provide free support, resources, education, and complementary therapies to palliative patients and those who are grieving the death of a loved one.
Chilliwack Hospice Society is guided by compassion, acceptance, relationships, education, and service. We show compassion by practicing love, kindness, and empathy to promote healthy connections. We demonstrate acceptance through welcoming and appreciating diversity in age, gender, education, ability, race, and religion. We develop relationships by creating opportunities and safe spaces through our actions and interactions within our community. We educate individuals with an understanding of grief and practical end-of-life planning. We are passionate about providing services that supports individuals and families experiencing the death and dying of a loved one.
